The Longest Day of the Year is a Boulder-based band hammering out hillbilly outlaw folk rock Americana for the debauched and dilapidated. As a friend and fan, I do what I can to add support.
The completed pieces to the left are:
• 8.5 x 11 letterhead for quick ads and show flyers
• 18 x 24 poster with a two inch footer for information
• 8.5 x 11 flyer just to get their name out
Since the band is such a great group of guys they have a lot of different artist wanting to help them out (more information here). The one constant in all of the band designs is the mule that comes from the nickname of the band's leader/creator, t.mule (lead vocals, acoustic guitar and harmonica). And, they are on his label, Mulewax.
